CAN WE INVITE FRIENDS? The Beach Bungalow and Princess Villa can sleep comfortably 2 couples, the cost is $880 per couple, per night GST inclusive.
CAN WE DINE AT BEDARRA BAY RESORT? Like East Bedarra Island retreat it is private and we respect each others privacy, like their guests would not land on our private side.
ARE THERE ANY SHOPS BARS OR RESTAURANTS ON THE ISLAND? No this is half the romance of being on a secluded island. The only night life is of the animal kind. You have your very own private bar and restaurant, heavenly perfect for two.
WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE? Temperatures range between 18-24 degrees in the winter months June/July to 28-32 degrees in summer February/March. Any time on Bedarra Island is just beautiful.
CAN WE BRING OUR CHILDREN? This is a romantic retreat, sorry it is not child friendly, half the romance is the peaceful time to yourselves without interruptions.
If children are over 12 this can be negotiated.
CAN WE VISIT DUNK ISLAND? Yes you can charter a private boat to have a day at Dunk Island as it is open to the public and they have a large range of water sports and restaurant and day spa.
IS THERE ANY OTHER ACCOMODATION ON EAST BEDARRA ISLAND?... Yes there are several holiday homes including Bedarra Hideaway and Bedarra Villas, however East Bedarra Island Retreat is the only 100% beach and waterfront accommodation.
IS IT OK TO SUNBAKE AND SWIM WITHOUT CLOTHING?...Yes absolutely.
HOW MANY WEEKS OF THE YEAR IS THE RETREAT AVAILE FOR HOLIDAY LETTING?... We have now increased our bookings availability to 6 months of the year
HAVE THERE BEEN ANY RECENT STRUCTIAL CHANGES OR UPGRADING TO THE RETREAT?... Yes, in March/April a new roof and solar water system was installed in the Beach Bungalow and the entire Retreat was closed from mid July to the end of August '08 for a refreshment programme, extending the Beach Bungalow under cover by an extra 80 square metres.
The Beach Bungalow renovations include a new digital LCD TV, DVD player and timber blinds. The bathroom has been updated with glass shower screens, and the kitchen has been painted with new upholstery seating and utensils. Out on the deck there is a new romantic dining setting for two. In the Princess Villa we have added a new bar fridge and swinging love chair on the deck.
